Our History
A year-by-year look at Concord Primary School's journey, milestones, and leadership from 2000 to the present.
2000 to 2004
Concord Primary School was founded in 2000 in Choa Chu Kang, bringing together a diverse community of nearly 1,500 students under the motto "Together We Soar to Greater Heights," with strong early achievements in academics, green initiatives, and parent involvement.
2005 to 2011
Under Mrs Rita Dass, Concord deepened its focus on character development, pioneered innovative teaching programmes, and celebrated a decade of excellence in sports, aesthetics, and staff development.
2012 to 2017
Under Mrs Tonnine Chua, Concord entered a phase of purposeful growth — deepening character education, launching MOE-recognised Applied Learning and Outdoor Education programmes, and achieving a historic milestone in 2017 when all Primary 6 students successfully transited to secondary school.
2018
Under Mrs Wong Siew Shan's leadership from 2018, Concord enters a new phase committed to nurturing confident, upright, and resilient students ready to contribute to society.
2019 to 2024
Under Mr Tan Siew Tiong, Concord deepened its signature programmes in reasoning, outdoor education, and values development to nurture thinking, resilient, and character-driven students.
