Students are expected to exhibit the school values.
Students should be polite and well-behaved at all times.
Students should greet all members of the Concord community.
Students should move in a quiet and orderly manner around the school.
Students should take good care of all school equipment and property.
Students should keep the school premises clean.
Students should observe safety of self and others at all times.
2. Attendance and Punctuality
Students are to report to the assembly area by 7.30am.
Students must be punctual for morning assemblies and school programmes.
Students who are not at the assembly area for flag-raising will be marked
late.
Students who are unwell should not attend school untill they have sought
medical attention and are deemed medically fit to attend school by licensed
medical practitioner.
3. National Anthem / Pledge / School Song
All students must attend the flag-raising ceremony. Students who are Singapore
citizen must sing the National Anthem and take the pledge with the right
fist over the heart.
Students are required to sing the school song.
Students are to observe all commands for assembly without fidgeting.
Students are to uphold the integrity of the flag-raising ceremony.
4. Classroom Conduct
Students are to greet teachers before and after lessons.
No food is to be consumed in the classroom except during snack break.
Only plain water is allowed to be consumed in the classroom. No sweet drinks
are allowed.
Students are not allowed to be in the classrooms during recess.
Students are not allowed to laeve the classroom without the permission
of the teacher.
5. Prohibited items
Students should not bring unauthorised electronic devices and card games
that can lead to gambling activities.
All students are not allowed to have in their possession any weapon. They
are also not allowed to bring any weapon-like item which can be used or
intended to be used to cause harm to others.
Students are reminded that it is against the law and the school rules
to purchase, use and/or possess a prohibited tobacco product ( e.g. cigarettes/e-vaporisers)
6. Use of Smartphones and Smartwatches
Students are not to use smartphones and/or smartwatches^ during school
hours including recess, CCA and after-school programme (e.g. supplementary/enrichment/remedial
lessons).
Students who bring smartphones are to put in lockers provided outside
classrooms before school starts. They can retrieve their smartphones after
school ends. Students will bear responsibility for the safekeeping of devices.
Students are only allowed to use smartphones and/or smartwatches at designated
areas ( foyer or security guard post) after school hours.
Smartphones and/or smartwatches are strictly prohibited in the exam venue
during school and national examinations.
^Exclude non-telecommunication devices, e,g, POSB SmartBuddy Watch, which
allow contactless payment in school.
