The Infocomm Club is a co-curricular activity (CCA) that nurtures students through digital literacy and applied technology learning. Open to students with an interest in technology and innovation, the CCA provides an engaging and future-ready environment where members develop computational thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Through regular activities and projects, students practise the school’s core values. They demonstrate resilience as they work through coding challenges and troubleshooting tasks, put in effort to develop their technical skills, and show care by practising responsible and ethical use of technology while supporting one another during collaborative work.
Members build strong foundations in digital literacy, including cyber wellness, responsible online habits, and digital citizenship. Students are also introduced to coding and programming using platforms such as Scratch and Micro:bit, allowing them to develop logical thinking and creativity.
The Infocomm Club further extends learning into robotics, where students use VEX GO Robotics kits and apply the engineering design process to plan, build, test, and refine their robotic creations. Members are prepared for participation in various competitions, providing opportunities to apply their skills, showcase their innovations, and grow as confident digital learners.
