Volleyball (Girls)
Empowering girls through volleyball to build strength, teamwork, and competitive sportsmanship.
Volleyball (Girls)
Volleyball is a co-curricular activity (CCA) that nurtures students through the sport of volleyball. The CCA provides an energetic and supportive environment where members develop fundamental volleyball skills, physical fitness, and game awareness while learning the importance of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Through the sport, students also build lasting friendships and experience holistic growth physically, mentally, and socially.
Through regular training sessions and match play, students practice the school’s core values. They demonstrate resilience as they work to master techniques and overcome challenges during training and competitions, put in consistent effort to improve their skills and tactical understanding, and show care by encouraging teammates and supporting one another on and off the court.
Under the guidance of experienced coaches, members are trained in essential volleyball skills such as serving, passing, setting, spiking, and defensive play. Weekly training sessions help students develop coordination, strength, and focus, while also nurturing important life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Students gain valuable team experience through friendly matches, school events, inter-school competitions, and community outreach programmes.
