Physical Education
Concord's PE programme empowers students to be confident, healthy, and active individuals through diverse physical experiences.
Vision
A Concordian who actively participates in physical activities with confidence and competence, while upholding strong values.
Mission
To provide a safe and positive environment, together with a broad and enriching curriculum, where all Concordians are empowered to succeed as active and healthy individuals.
Our Curriculum
At the end of primary school, students will leave Concord Primary School as:
Competent movers with a mastery of fundamental movement skills and the ability to apply movement concepts.
Healthy individuals who pursue physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Self-directed learners and effective thinkers with a positive work attitude.
Confident individuals who are good team players and responsible global citizens.
Our PE curriculum aims to develop fundamental skills and competencies in all students from Primary 1 to Primary 6 through a broad, balanced, and engaging programme. Weekly lessons and daily physical activities promote health, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits. Through both cooperative and competitive games, students develop communication skills, resilience, and teamwork. Key learning areas include:
Athletics (From Primary 3)
Dance
Games and Sports
Gymnastics
Outdoor Education
Physical Health and Fitness
Swimming (By the end of Primary 6)
Sports Fiesta
Held annually on Children’s Day, Sports Fiesta is a fun and vibrant event involving all students from Primary 1 to 6. Every child takes part in friendly competition, promoting mass participation, team spirit, and school pride.

SwimSafer Programme
Swimming is an important part of our PE syllabus. Through the SwimSafer 2.0 programme, our Primary 3 & Primary 6 students gain water confidence, learn essential water safety skills, and build techniques to prevent drowning. This programme also helps develop physical and mental resilience, fostering perseverance and self-discipline in our students.

Primary 5 Residential Adventure Camp
Our 3-day, 2-night adventure camp offers Primary 5 students the chance to step out of their comfort zones. With activities like high elements, low elements, team building games, tent-pitching, nature walk, and campfire, students build resilience, teamwork, independence and essential life skills that go beyond the classroom.
