Sepak Takraw (Boys)
Concord's Sepak Takraw CCA trains students under a qualified coach, building commitment, discipline, and perseverance.
Sepak Takraw (Boys)
Sepak Takraw is a co-curricular activity (CCA) that nurtures students through a fast-paced and exciting sport that is widely popular in Southeast Asia. Through this dynamic sport, students develop agility, coordination, flexibility, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
During training sessions, students put the school's core values into practice. They demonstrate resilience as they persevere in mastering challenging techniques, put in consistent effort to improve their skills and physical fitness, and show care by supporting and encouraging their teammates during training and competitions.
Members begin by learning fundamental skills such as ball juggling and basic kicking techniques. As they progress, they are introduced to more advanced skills, including spikes, blocks, serving techniques, and game strategies. Through regular training and team practices, students also develop discipline, quick decision-making, confidence, and leadership both on and off the court.
The Sepak Takraw CCA also provides students with opportunities to represent the school at the National School Games (NSG), where they demonstrate their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while competing with students from other schools. Our Senior Division team emerged as National School Games (NSG) Champions in both 2025 and 2026, reflecting the students' dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.
