International Friendship Day
Schools commemorate International Friendship Day on the 3rd Friday of Term 2. This is a day dedicated to the understanding of Singapore's relations with neighbouring countries and beyond.
International Friendship Day 2025
Concord Primary School commemorated International Friendship Day (IFD) on 7 April 2025.
The theme for this year is Forging Friendships in a Complex World. On this day, on top of the Form Teacher Guided Period lesson packages on (IFD), students watched a skit put up by our teachers and participated in engaging recess activities, Through the varied activities, students will be sensitized to Singapore's geopolitical realities, and to reflect on the importance of:
openness to the international flow of trade , ideas and talents;
cross-cultural skills and global orientation ; and
the spirit of friendship and collaboration amongst different people.
