Student Leadership
Prefectorial Board
At Concord Primary School, we believe that every student can be a leader, not only through formal positions, but also through daily acts of care, responsibility, and perseverance. Our Prefectorial Board exemplifies this belief, serving as role models who uphold the school’s values and contribute actively to our community.

Grounded in the school’s Student Leadership Framework, the Prefectorial Board nurtures each prefect to grow as a:

Prefects as Student Leaders
Prefects are selected based on character, conduct and their potential to lead with integrity. They play an important role in maintaining a safe, respectful and inclusive school environment. Prefects serve in a variety of ways:
· Leading morning assemblies, pledge-taking and emceeing events
· Supporting school routines during recess and transitions
· Modelling positive behaviour and mentoring other prefects
· Representing the student voice at key school events
· Contributing to school-wide initiatives and community outreach
Leadership Progression & Executive Committee
Prefects in Primary 3 and 4 begin by assisting with simple responsibilities and learning leadership from peers. As they progress to Primary 5 and 6, they take on expanded roles such as mentoring others, leading initiatives and representing the student voice.
The Prefectorial Executive Committee (Head Prefect, Vice-Head Prefects, and Exco members) guides the Board and works closely with teachers to coordinate training, duties, and key events.
